 Create A Onesie is a family affair. The story of how that all came to be, is almost as adorable as one of their unique onesies. It all started in the Southern California area in 1996. Devo was selling products to Copy Sores all over the Southland which led him to the T-Shirt industry. He bought an Industrial Heat Press from a customer that ran a classic surf T-shirt design company and tried to sell shirts over the next two years with mixed success. The shirts where mainly Surf, Skateboarding, and Political in nature.
Devo and KJ combined forces in January of 2000. They kept selling T-Shirts, Mousepads, and Totebags for the next couple of years. TayTay was added to the team in the middle of 2002, Dash in 2004, followed by Little Man in 2006.
In September 2005, KJ's sister and brother in-law came to visit. They were going to the Price Is Right TV Game Show the next day and needed help designing T-Shirts for the occasion. Devo went to work and designed the shirts that brought them up onto the stage the next day for the bidding contest where Joe won the December 5th showing of the Price Is Right. Bob Barker loved his shirt, and so did many others. 
Joe's wife, KJ's sister, was expecting a new addition to their team so KJ came up with the idea to make a matching Onesie to go along with Joe's Price Is Right winning T-shirt. This was the first time the team had tried to put an image on a onesie, and it turned out so adorable, it made a very unforgettable gift that Christmas. The reaction from friends and neighbors was awesome and before long everyone in he neighborhood wanted one for a gift or for their own baby. Baby showers turned into ordering moments when moms and expectant moms saw how adorable the Onesies were.
Obviously, this led to the selling of Custom Onesies. Their first couple listings on eBay sold slowly. Then word got around as the unique onesies were given as gifts, and seen in public. The service and communication was a great support to such a fun product. As word of mouth spread, so did the volume of business. As word continues to spread, it won't be long before every baby shower will have at least one Onesie given as a gift.
