Change in Shipping Charges Due to the changes in postal rates and in size increases in the U.S. by the USPS, we find ourselves having to charge for shipping per piece. The USPS has not only raised the cost of postage, they have also added two additional postal charges on mailing by the ounce. These new charges are based on bulk, not just weight. This means that, though two items may weigh the same, they can still be charged differently if one item is bulkier (thicker) than the other. For years we have maintained both low prices on our products and low prices on shipping. Howevwer, this change places an undue burden on our shipping since all our items exceed the low rate because of the thickness of our products. Rather than raise the prices of our products, we have decided to charge for shipping at the following rate since we believe this is the fairest way to handle the increased costs of postage imposed upon us: ONESIES: a shipping charge of $1.00 for the first onesie, and .50¢ for each additional onesie, up to and including 5 items. 6 or more onesies will be shipped at no additional cost (Bulk orders--over 10--will be priced at the shipping rate). BABY TEES & T-SHIRTS: shipping charges will be added as it is for Onesies (above). BIBS: a single shipping charge of $1.00 will be added for up to 5, over 5 at .20¢ additional bibs ordered. CAPS: a charge of .50¢ per cap will be added because of the thickness of the tie-knot caps. OTHER ITEMS: shipping charges will be added based on the thickness of the package required to mail the fiished items. SPECIAL HANDLING: Create a Onesie will charge an additional $5.00 for Priority Mail of most packages, and $1.00 for a Tracking Number for your order if requested. SHIPPING TIME: The USPS claims 3-5 working days for delivery in the U.S. by regular first-class mail. For an additional charge, your order may be shipped by Priority Mail which claims delivery within 2-3 working days. Create a Onesies does not guarantee Post Office delivery times. ORDER TIME: Please provide us with up to two days to print and ship your order once payment is received. So most orders, once payment is redeived, will be (2 days print and ship time) plus up to 5 days (delivery time) for a total of AT LEAST 7 days. Obviously, when dealing with the USPS, delays can occur, so it is best to provide a safe two weeks from payment received to delivery received. However, this is just an estimate--we do not guarantee USPS delivery days. TRACKING NUMBERS: Create a Onesie does not provide a USPS tracking number service unless the customer wishes to pay an extra shipping charge of $1.00. | ||||
